Why Crashes Cause Secondary Accidents
Most people have been on the roadway at a time when an accident happened. Driving past, drivers often slow down to see what happened. Some do not move out of the way, while others, often distracted with other things, fail to slow down and move over, often causing secondary accidents. Speeding, changes in the flow of traffic, and backups can all contribute to these secondary accidents.
When they occur, the complications matter. They also create another victim and, in some situations, cause serious losses to those already hurt if they strike the already damaged vehicle. When possible, slowing down and moving over becomes critical to avoid such complications.
