Pedestrian Accidents Outside of Crosswalks
Vehicle drivers must do all they can to avoid striking a pedestrian. Many factors contribute to accidents outside of crosswalks, including distracted driving, poor visibility, and reckless operation. Police will investigate this case to determine whether the driver should have stopped or had the ability to do so. In those situations, the driver could be held accountable for the death, and the victim’s family may seek legal action.
