Rider Loses Control Over Bike
The crash happened at about 12:28 pm in the southbound Garden State Parkway at Exit 89B, which is the exit ramp to Lakewood. The rider was traveling along the exit ramp heading towards Route 70 West. For reasons unknown, the rider lost control of the vehicle. They then crashed into the guardrail. The force from the collision was so great that it ejected the rider from the bike.
The rider was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. It is not clear to what extent their injuries extend. The New Jersey State Police are investigating the accident to determine cause and fault.
