Details of the Deadly Juniata Crash
Very limited information was provided, but what we know is that the driver of a gold Lexus vehicle lost their life, as did a passenger. The passenger was ejected from the vehicle. They died at the scene.
When officials arrived, they also found a black Jeep Cherokee. There were four people within that vehicle. Two of them required a trip to the hospital. It is not clear what their conditions are. Police are investigating and stated they are trying to determine if alcohol was a factor in the accident.
Who Is At Fault When Alcohol Is Involved
Driving under the influence is one of the most worrisome forms of reckless behavior. Alcohol impairs judgment, limits a person's ability to respond to fast-changing situations, and leads to reckless speeding and swerving. Drivers may not navigate turns properly and may run red lights without realizing it.
In these situations, the intoxicated driver could be held liable for any injuries or damages caused to others. It is not clear who could be at fault in this case, but they could be responsible for the injuries and the death of the passenger.
