
A devastating accident occurred in the East Germantown area of Philadelphia on Monday evening, according to police. The crash occurred at 8 pm. Police said they attempted to stop a speeding Nissan traveling westbound on Godfrey Avenue. That is when the Nissan struck a Honda that was at the intersection of 20th Street.
The Nissan driver lost control and hit five additional parked vehicles before coming to rest. Three people in the Nissan were ejected from the car. The driver of the Nissan had to be cut out of the car and died at the scene. Three others were taken to the hospital, where one died. Two others were said to be in critical condition. The driver of the other vehicle, an older person, was taken to the hospital and said to be in stable condition.

Officers found a semi-automatic gun that was in several pieces in the car, along with several rounds of ammunition.
