An Investigation Is Still Ongoing
Reports indicate that Newtown Township police were called to the scene of the accident at 5:03 pm on Friday. The incident took place near Richboro Road and West Hanover Street. They were informed of serious crash-related injuries. Newtown Emergency Medical Services and Newtown Fire Rescue responded.
According to police, the vehicle that struck the pedestrians was a white sedan with a newer-style Pennsylvania license plate. It was also missing the right front hubcap.
