Seat Belts Reportedly Saved Lives
Initial information came in from the Upper Chichester Fire Department that reported an accident on the southbound side of Interstate 95. The call came in at 7:30 am and indicated that people were trapped in the vehicle.
When rescue teams arrived at the scene, they removed the driver from the vehicle. They were taken to an area hospital for treatment. The child was in the car as well, but did not sustain any injuries. Rescue teams believe that the seatbelts both people were using saved their lives.
