Police Uncovering a Complex Crime Scene
According to current reports, a person crashed and then stabbed the other driver in Main Line Park. Police took the person into custody after they fled the scene. The situation began at about 5:30 pm on the ramp to Interstate 76 East to Interstate 476 South in Lower Merion. Information from the victim indicates that a U-Haul rear-ended their vehicle. Then, several people from the U-Haul and potentially other vehicles assaulted the victim.
The U-Haul driver stabbed the victim with a knife to the abdomen, then fled. The victim was taken to Lankenau Medical Center. Their condition was not immediately updated. However, after the suspects fled, Lower Merion Police saw the U-Haul at a local gas station. The driver ran from that area but was arrested later at Austin Memorial Park. It is not clear what charges will be applied.
