Police Are Investigating the Accident
The call came in around 8:42 am. That is when rescuers were called to the scene at the CVS on the 3000 block of Tilghman Street in Allentown. When they arrived, they found the vehicle partially inside the CVS building. A wall of the building was partially collapsed, making the structure unsafe. The vehicle was covered in building debris.
The details remain limited. What is known is that only minor injuries were reported, though it is not clear if those injuries were to the driver or those in the building. The accident's cause is unknown. Interestingly, this is not the first time this specific CVS building has been hit by a vehicle. It was struck in May of this year. No one suffered injuries in that accident.
