Common Causes of Motorcycle Accidents
Philadelphia can be an ideal place to ride a motorcycle, but it can also be dangerous. Though many people believe that riders are adventure-seekers and more likely to engage in unsafe behavior, the fact is that many accidents result from others failing to yield the right of way to riders.
Common causes of such accidents include distracted driving, illegal lane changes, reckless speeding, or dooring accidents. Intersection accidents are very common for riders because drivers do not always yield the right of way to bikes, often because they do not see them or do not gauge their speed properly.
