A two-vehicle crash in Bristol Township occurred at around 6:30 p.m. on a recent Thursday evening. According to reports, a man operating a motorcycle was traveling south on Veterans Highway and hit a vehicle that was making a left-hand turn from Northern Veterans Highway onto Ford Road.
The result was the motorcyclist being struck, and though they were wearing a helmet at the time, they died after reaching Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital. Both of the vehicles had significant damage. Police did not release any information about who may have been at fault or the condition of the other driver.
Left Turning Accidents
It is very common for accidents to happen in intersections when one person is making a left-hand turn. In these situations, the driver turning may not see the other vehicle that has the right of way to go straight. Other times, the driver going straight may run a red light or be speeding through the intersection, making it challenging for the driver to see them or avoid them.
In accidents like these, which can be rather complex, police investigate to determine fault. However, no matter which role you or your loved one takes, it is critical to seek legal advice as you navigate the legal process.
