An accident on Knapp Road in Montgomery Township caused at least one driver to need medical care. The incident occurred between the Route 202 parkway and Route 309. It occurred right at the intersection near the Target and Giant shopping center just off the expressway.
Data released by police indicates that a black Hyundai SUV collided with a white Toyota SUV, causing both vehicles to sustain significant damage. In an intersection accident, one driver often fails to give the other the right of way. Often, police must investigate to determine, to the best of their ability, who had the right of way.
However, witnesses were present in this accident. They saw the Hyundai driver run a red light, and as they did, they struck the Toyota. The driver of one of the vehicles had to be taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Demonstrating What Happened in Your Case
Witnesses can play a significant role in providing your right to compensation when someone else causes an accident. It is not always clear who is responsible, though, which is why it is up to you, at least in part, to document as much information as possible. Take photos, get the names of the witnesses, and document everything you remember right away.
