
Police reports show that a West Chester University student died after being struck by a vehicle on an early Sunday morning. The pedestrian was crossing the street on campus when a car struck them, throwing them about 70 feet down the roadway.
The accident happened at the intersection of South High Street and Union Street at about 1:30 am. Rescuers arrived at the scene and took the student to Paoli Hospital, but they died of their injuries. A roommate was nearby to the accident and heard it happen.
