Driver Loses Control
Police released a statement saying the crash involved a black Toyota Highlander in the middle lane traveling northbound. That driver tried to cross into the right lane between two cars. However, the Toyota struck the rear passenger side of a white Jaguar USV, causing the Toyota's driver to lose control. The driver then struck the median before rolling over at least twice. It finally stopped on the driver's side.
The details of the accident indicate that the driver of the Toyota was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. The four-year-old in the car was found by bystanders but was unharmed. No other injuries were reported.
