Christopher N. Leeds has extensive experience in both litigation and appellate work. A proud second-generation attorney, Mr. Leeds began his legal career at a prominent and well-respected personal injury law firm in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Following that, Mr. Leeds was a partner at a defense firm for four (4) years. During that time, Mr. Leeds litigated cases across many areas of the law-including mass torts, premises liability, negligent security, commercial trucking, products liability, construction defect, insurance subrogation, contract disputes, and catastrophic injury losses.
Following his tenure as a defense attorney, Mr. Leeds realized that his unique experience on both sides of the coin would benefit best those who are grievously harmed by the negligence and misdeeds of others. As such, Mr. Leeds decided to return to Plaintiffs’ personal injury work. In this regard, Mr. Leeds remains committed steadfastly to providing a voice for the voiceless.
A veteran of The United States Army, Mr. Leeds applies sedulously his tactical training to serve his clients-always with an eye towards both fairness and justice. As a result of this same approach, Mr. Leeds was fortunate enough to be named, from 2018 to 2023 (inclusive), as a Rising Star by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers. Mr. Leeds has tried numerous cases to verdict and has also secured a victory in The Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Moreover, Mr. Leeds regularly provides pro bono legal services to both military veterans and Philadelphia residents.
Mr. Leeds graduated from Cabrini University (in Radnor, Pennsylvania) in 2006-with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communications. He graduated from The Thomas M. Cooley Law School (in Lansing, Michigan) in 2013. During law school, Mr. Leeds served as an Army Reservist. He also served as an advocate at The Veterans Treatment Court, in Lansing, Michigan.
During his time at The Veterans Treatment Court, Mr. Leeds assisted military veterans with having minor criminal and traffic offenses adjudicated. Mr. Leeds also helped these veterans re-establish footing in their civilian lives-by communicating and mentoring them outside of the courtroom. It was this experience that crystallized Mr. Leeds’s commitment to becoming a sincere steward for aggrieved individuals.
Mr. Leeds is barred in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania state court. He is also barred in New Jersey District Court (all three vicinages), The Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and The Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Outside of work, Mr. Leeds is an avid fitness enthusiast-with freestyle wrestling, running, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, calisthenics, and swimming being his favorite pursuits. He is also a dedicated reader, writer, and admirer of both the theater and music. He has been, is, and always will be, a tireless advocate for The City of Philadelphia and its citizens. He resides, proudly, in South Philadelphia.
