Pedestrian Accident in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey

A fatal crash occurred in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, on a recent Saturday evening. Police were called to the scene at the intersection of Delaware and Fernwood Avenues. According to reports, a 2014 Chevy Camaro was traveling east on Delaware Avenue. As it approached Fernwood Avenue, a 2022 Mini Cooper entered the intersection from the north.

One of the drivers swerved to avoid the collision, went off the road, and onto the grass shoulder. At that moment, two juveniles who were walking in the area were struck. One of those pedestrians suffered serious injuries. The Camaro, which struck the pedestrians, then overturned, causing the driver to become entrapped. Numerous departments responded to the accident.

One of the juveniles was taken to the hospital but died from the injuries. Police are still investigating the incident to determine who was at fault.
