Why People Are Struck by Light Rail Vehicles
Walking along the light rail lines is not legal and can be highly dangerous. There is no insight into why the person was walking in this area. Other reasons may include looking for a shortcut. It may be possible that the train operator made a mistake, or the pedestrian was not paying attention to signals and no trespassing signs. Other issues include track concerns, system design failures, and failure to yield the right of way.
