Pedestrian Hospitalized After Hit by 2 Cars in Lehigh County

Emergency crews were called to the scene of an accident in Lehigh County at approximately 10:21 p.m. Reports indicated that a pedestrian had been struck by two vehicles along the 500 block of East Emmaus Avenue.

Initial information indicated a woman was crossing on the south side of the street when a car hit her in the eastbound lane. The pedestrian then fell, falling into the westbound lane of traffic. She was then struck by another vehicle and pushed back into the eastbound lane of traffic. The second car drug her about 83 feet.

The incident, as terrifying as it seems, resulted in the woman being taken to the local hospital with serious injuries. However, she was expected to survive the accident.
