What to Do When Arrested

Stay Smart
The officers may lie to you throughout the arrest to trick you into saying something incriminating. Politely say no to officers who want to come into your home or search your vehicle without a warrant, and do not talk back, resist arrest, or try to run. If you cooperate, this will help your case in the long run.
