Three people lost their lives in a recent accident in New Garden Township, PA. police say that a police pursuit was underway in Chester County on Friday at around 1:30 a.m. when the incident occurred.

Pennsylvania state police report that troopers from the Avondale station tried to stop the vehicle just before the accident after seeing the driver commit multiple traffic violations near East 3rd Street and Garner Drive. The driver did not stop, leading the police on a pursuit. The driver eventually crashed the vehicle along Route 41. The car came to rest against a tree, and caused so much force at the time of impact that the bark was stripped from part of the tree.

Neighbors reported seeing the crash occur. They noted that the driver was traveling at a very high rate of speed before the crash. The area is generally very quiet and calm, making this odd for the region. Residents in the area were shaken by what occurred.

Finding Fault in Loss

In a complicated matter like this, hiring an experienced attorney is beneficial to the family of those lost. In some situations, it may be found that the driver is responsible for the death of others in the vehicle with them because they failed to stop and led police on a pursuit. Additionally, an investigation into whether police behaved in a reckless manner is also necessary.
