Details of the Minsi Trail Accident

Four emergency and fire response crews were sent to the scene on Minsi Trail between Forest and Quarry Roads. Limited information was initially provided as to what happened. However, at least one person had to be extracted from each vehicle.

News reports show that a gold-colored SUV overturned onto its side, lost a wheel in the incident, and was leaking fluid. A black sedan was in the ditch off the roadway with significant damage to the driver’s side and front end, which seemed to be due to being crushed inward from the impact.

It is not clear how many injuries occurred. Crews shut down the roadway for some time to clear debris and conduct the investigation.

Gathering Forensic Evidence

This intense accident provides significant evidence to the police about what occurred. The positioning of the vehicles, the location of the damage, and the amount of damage can help determine fault, including whether one driver was speeding or impaired. As a victim, it is essential that a comprehensive investigation accurately show fault.
