Police are investigating the potential causes of a crash that occurred at Drexel University’s Center City campus. According to initial reports, a car crashed into the entrance of the building.

The accident took place at around 2 a.m. on Saturday morning. Police were called to the site of the accident at the 200 block of North 15th Street for a report of an accident. The incident was significantly impactful, causing the driver to require extraction from the vehicle.

Rescuers pulled the driver from the accident site and then took them to the hospital. It is not clear what their injuries were, but they were expected to recover from those injuries. The Department of Licenses and Inspections was called to the scene to investigate the building’s structural integrity after the accident.

Uncovering Fault Is Not Simple

An accident on a college campus can seem like a simple claim. The driver fell asleep, was intoxicated, or was driving recklessly and lost control. That is not always the case. A full investigation could reveal a concern with visibility, mechanical failures in the vehicle, or other vehicles causing the accident to occur. When you are the victim, you want to know all of the facts to make sure the right people pay for your losses.
