Car Slammed Into Home, Causing Injuries

Data from the news team shows that the Deptford Township police were pursuing a stolen vehicle into Gloucester City at around 6 pm. The vehicle struck another car and then slammed into a home located on the 500 block of Morris Street. The family within the home was not hurt during the crash.

The vehicle struck by the fleeing driver had a 24-year-old in it with two children, an 8-year-old and a 7-year-old. The children were in critical condition at the time of the accident and were taken to an area hospital for care. The driver of that vehicle was not seriously hurt.

Video obtained by police showed that the driver of the car that was under pursuit fled on foot after the crash, though a neighborhood chased them down. That driver was a 32-year-old Mount Laurel man.
