Determining Who Is At Fault Can Be Challenging
In most pedestrian accidents, the driver of a car must take every step possible to avoid striking a pedestrian. However, in this situation, there are two critical factors police will need to investigate. The first is determining why the pedestrian was lying on the ground in the drive-thru lane, where they are not likely to be. The second is to determine if the driver had the opportunity to stop or should have been able to stop before striking the driver.
