The Gloucester Township Police Department and other emergency personnel were dispatched to the area of Woodbury-Turnersville Road around 11 PM on Monday night for the report of an accident involving a motorcycle.

Witnesses of the crash told investigators that they saw two people thrown from the motorcycle when the crash occurred. According to police, witnesses say that the motorcycle was traveling west on Woodbury-Turnersville Road when it crashed into a vehicle that was attempting to make a left turn.

The road was closed for upwards of two hours while police conducted an investigation and crews cleared the roadway of debris. Both the motorcycle riders were taken to Cooper Hospital with serious injuries. There were no reported injuries to the people riding in the SUV that collided with the motorcycle.
