An accident at the corner of East Main and Line streets in Lansdale caused significant damage, but no injuries, according to initial reports. Investigators reported that a two-car crash took place in the Landsdale Borough at around 6 p.m. It led to significant backups during rush hour traffic as crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.

Data indicates that a black SUV and a red Kia sedan were involved. Both vehicles had significant front-end damage. After colliding with the other vehicle, the Kia came to rest after crashing into and knocking down a pole on the Memorial Park property.

Initial news reports indicated that two children were trapped in one of the vehicles. However, all parties were out of the vehicle by the time the police arrived at the scene. No one is said to have been hurt.

Why Filing a Police Report Still Matters

If you are involved in a car accident and no one is hurt, you may want to think you should involve the police in the matter. Not doing so is problematic, though. Police will gather data and evidence that may be helpful later if someone learns of hidden or late-forming injuries in the accident. You want to ensure there is a record of what occurred, clearly outlined and ready for you to use to protect yourself.

It is also beneficial to hire a car accident lawyer to help you at that time. Our legal team at Kwartler Manus has the car accident lawyer in Lansdale you need and want by your side.
