Police reported a vehicle crashing into a pole at the Woodland Road and West County Line intersection in Horsham Township, PA, early Thursday morning. Units responded to the accident and found a single vehicle had crashed into a pole. The incident closed the intersection for nearly an hour while police worked to clear it and investigate.

Single-car crashes are not always as simple and straightforward as they seem. In some cases, the driver may have been distracted or drowsy. In others, another vehicle, perhaps a bike rider, could have caused the driver to swerve to avoid them. In this situation, we do not have all of the details to know what happened. However, a car accident attorney can work with victims to find out exactly what happened.

Initial Reports of a Fire Were Not Accurate

In this case, the Horsham Township Fire Company was also dispatched to the scene of the accident, as witnesses noted that the vehicle was “smoking.” Upon further investigation, it was found that the smoke was from the deployment of the vehicle’s airbag. There were no updates on the victim’s condition, only that they sustained injuries that required medical care.
