Emergency personnel were dispatched at 1:53 PM on Friday, March 8th, to Forty Foot Road between Clemens and Elroy Roads in Hatfield Township for the report of a two-vehicle car accident.

A Volkswagen Turbo bug was heavily damaged in the rear on the driver’s side. The rear driver’s side wheel was also broken off of the Volkswagen. A little further up the road an Infiniti sedan was on the side of the road with severe damage to the front right side of the vehicle.

The Volunteer Medical Services Corps transported one male from the scene to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries. The initial investigation by police determined that the crash was a rear-end collision. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
