Rescuers were called to the scene of an accident in Langhorne Manor, PA, for reports of a person trapped. They found a car that had collided with a dump truck with a driver trapped.
The incident happened at East Park Avenue and Bellevue Avenue on a Thursday morning. Fire crews used a front winch to pull the vehicle away from the dump truck in order to get into the driver’s side of the passenger vehicle. That was necessary before medical crews could access the person to examine them.
The damage sustained by the passenger vehicle was substantial. There was no update on the type or severity of injuries to that driver, nor the condition of the driver of the dump truck. Police were investigating the cause.
