According to a press release from the Deptford Township Police Department, the accident occurred at Hurffville Road and Deptford Center Road. Emergency personnel were dispatched at 8:03 PM on Friday, March 22nd for the report of a two-vehicle crash.

Upon arrival, officers determined that a 16-year-old girl had died from injuries suffered in the accident. The driver of the car she was riding in, a 17-year-old boy, was taken to Cooper University Hospital with serious injuries.

The female driver of the second vehicle involved also suffered injuries and was transported to Jefferson Hospital in Washington Township. The condition of this driver has not yet been updated.
