Police, fire, and EMS personnel were dispatched shortly before Noon on Friday, May 24th to the area of 2nd and Flower streets in Chester, Delaware County, for the report of a multi-vehicle crash involving a tanker truck.
According to reports at least two people had to be extricated from the vehicle that was involved in the crash with the truck. One of the victims was transported to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries. The other victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by emergency personnel.
Police have not yet said what led to the crash or if charges would be filed. Authorities have also yet to release the name or age of the victim who died in the crash.
