A driver was left in serious condition after an accident that had so much force that it led to the vehicle being overturned. The incident took place in Sadsbury Township, PA, at about 6:02 p.m. According to news reports, the accident happened at the intersection of Old Wilmington Road and North Street. The driver was trapped in the vehicle when rescuers arrived and had to be extracted.

The driver was reportedly in serious condition and was transported by the Keystone Valley Fire Department to the local trauma center for treatment. There is no update on the driver’s condition. Police did not provide insight into what caused the accident. It did not appear that anyone else was involved.

The Importance of Full Investigations

In a case like this, police will investigate the case and use the driver’s information, if available, to create a better idea of what happened. They do not always have all of the details though. A full investigation could also include speaking to witnesses, seeking any video evidence from the area, and reconstructing the accident.

Even if this was a single vehicle accident, road conditions, visibility around corners, other driver actions, and numerous other factors could contribute to what happened. In some cases, someone else could be at fault.
