What Happened in the Fatal Pemberton Crash?
The fatal Pemberton crash occurred around 6:30 am on Sunday, according to authorities. The incident involved just one vehicle, in which the boy was riding. His mother was reportedly driving the vehicle. The accident occurred on the 500 block of Magnolia Road.
Police were told by the driver that she had fallen asleep behind the wheel, which caused the vehicle to hit a tree on the side of the road at 50 MPH. The boy was transported to the trauma center at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, where he was pronounced deceased. The driver was taken to the same hospital and listed in stable condition.
