Two Separate Egg Harbor Township Crashes Injure Multiple People

Egg Harbor Township, Atlantic County, was the scene of two separate accidents that left three people injured. Details of the Egg Harbor Township Crashes

Accident number one occurred around 8 am Wednesday at Old Egg Harbor and Delancy roads. A driver ran the stop sign Delancy Road, hitting a vehicle in the intersection that had the right of way.

The driver of the striking vehicle had to be extricated from their vehicle and was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City with serious injuries. The other driver, 24, suffered minor injuries.

The second crash of the morning occurred around 10 am Wednesday at West Jersey Avenue and Cates Road. The driver of a sedan, 84, ran a stop sign at the intersection and was hit by a 66-year-old driver who had the right of way.

The driver of the sedan was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries and the 66-year-old driver refused medical care.

Both accidents led to road closures until police finalized their investigations and debris was cleaned from the roads.
