What Happened on the Roosevelt Boulevard in Northeast Philadelphia?

According to the report from NBC10, a motorcycle crash occurred on Wednesday, June 25th, around 8:55 p.m. at the intersection of Roosevelt Boulevard and Comly Road. According to the Philadelphia Police Department, a man and a woman were riding a stolen motorcycle when it collided with another vehicle.

Officials believe that the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed at the time of the impact. The outer lanes of the northbound side of the Roosevelt Boulevard were closed for some time while authorities investigated the crash. Both riders of the motorcycle died in the crash.

Moments before the crash, police attempted to stop the motorcycle after identifying it as stolen. It is unknown if the driver of the vehicle suffered any injuries in the crash Wednesday night.
