A student hit by a car on Wednesday after dismissal is recovering in the hospital, according to officials from the Pottstown School District in Montgomery County. The student, a fifth grader, was hit at the intersection of Charlotte and East streets. The police have not released a cause for the crash or if charges will be filed. The posted speed limit in the area is 25 MPH, but police have not yet said if speed played a role in the accident. Police did state that more information about the crash would be released in the coming days.
