About the Middletown Township Crash

Police, fire, and EMS were dispatched to the intersection of Hulmeville and Comly Avenues late on Tuesday afternoon for the report of a car accident involving multiple vehicles. First responders from the Middletown Township Department of Fire and Emergency Services and the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad responded to the crash to assist the police.

Dispatch communications reported at least five injuries, all of which were said to be non-life-threatening. All vehicle occupants were able to get out of their respective cars on their own. The intersection was closed for roughly 45 minutes as tow crews cleaned up the debris and removed the damaged vehicles.

Officials did not comment on the cause of the crash or if any of the victims were transported to local hospitals. Police from three agencies responded to the scene: Middletown Township, Penndel Borough and the Pennsylvania State Police.
