Passenger Loses Life in SUV Accident

Camden, New Jersey police reported a tragic outcome from a recent crash that occurred at the intersection of 19th and Linden streets. The incident took place around 8:52pm on a Wednesday evening.

The investigation found that one SUV struck another SUV in the intersection. It is not clear who caused the accident. However, the Camden County Police Department reported that the passenger in one of the vehicles lost their life.

How Investigations Happen

In nearly all situations, police gather information at the scene of the accident and use that to determine who is at fault. In some situations, it is clear who caused the accident but not always. In an intersection accident, investigators must consider who had the right of way, what each driver was doing at the time of the incident, and whether there were any extenuating circumstances that could have impaired either driver’s ability.

Very little information was provided about what occurred in this accident. However, police are likely to investigate in numerous ways, such as speaking to each driver, witnesses who may have seen the incident or its outcome, and any dash camera footage. Reconstructing the accident may also be necessary to gather as much data as possible. In some situations, the person at fault may not agree with the findings from law enforcement. In such situations, it is crucial to hire an attorney to investigate what occurred thoroughly.

At Kwartler Manus, our car accident attorney in New Jersey works with victims of all types of accidents to gather accurate details about what really happens in these instances.
