A hit-and-run in Kensington on Sunday has left a 63-year-old man with a serious leg injury, according to news reports. The victim suffered the loss of half of his left leg in the crash that authorities believe involved a Jeep Wrangler. The Horrific Details of the Kensington Hit-and-Run

According to the police, the victim was crossing Trenton Street at Lehigh Avenue in Kensington just past midnight when he was struck by a vehicle believed to be a Jeep Wrangler. The vehicle failed to stop to check on the victim, who was taken to Temple University Hospital in critical condition with a broken arm and fractured pelvis, on top of the loss of part of his left leg.
