A pickup truck crashed into an ice cream truck in Philly, causing injuries to three people, two of whom are in critical condition. The accident occurred at approximately 2:41 p.m. at the 4400 Block of Whitaker Avenue. That is when a Chevrolet Silverado operating at a high rate of speed went around a Honda CR-V that was traveling southbound on Whitaker. The truck, which was heading northbound, crashed into the back of an ice cream truck. The ice cream truck then struck the Honda Pilot in front of it.
The entire accident was caught on camera. Police did not provide an update on the condition of those hurt. However, witnesses say that they saw at least two people being taken to the hospital. The driver of the truck and the ice cream truck were those reportedly transported to the hospital in critical condition. The driver of the Honda CR-V was also taken to the medical center but is expected to be okay.
