The Details of the Rio Grande Fatal Accident

The fatal crash occurred around 8:50 pm on Monday in the area of Route 47 and School Lane. The Middle Township Police Department responded to the scene along with multiple fire and EMS units.

The initial investigation from police found that the e-bike rider was traveling south on Route 47 when a Ford Bronco made a left turn onto School Lane, striking the bike.

The collision ejected the rider from the e-bike. The victim was then hit by a Hyundai Veloster, which was also traveling south on Route 47.

The victim was transported to Cooper Cape Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased. The occupants of the two vehicles involved did not suffer any injuries. The road was closed for three hours while authorities from the Middle Township Major Crimes Unit and the Middle Township Crash Investigation Unit conducted an investigation.
