A vehicle making a U-turn in front of a bus led to a collision, injuring five people. According to police reports, a SEPTA bus collided with a vehicle at the intersection of Broad and Susquehanna streets in North Philadelphia early on a Sunday morning. The vehicle had just made a U-turn in front of the bus when the collision occurred, though police have not stated that the driver of the car was at fault.

The incident led to five riders on the SEPTA bus suffering injuries. Initial reports stated that none of the injuries appeared to be serious. A total of 25 people were on the bus. The driver of the car, if found guilty of causing the accident, could face charges.

What Victims Do In Situations Like This

For those who are on a bus when an accident occurs, it can be challenging to know what steps to take. Any incident in which you have injuries should be taken seriously. That includes contacting 911, reporting the incident to the police, and then getting medical care. Then, in situations where you have significant injuries and lose time at work, it becomes critical to hire a lawyer to represent you.

Hiring a bus accident lawyer can be important for several reasons. Bus accidents can result in serious injuries and long-term complications. Additionally, riders may struggle to file a claim against a city-owned or managed bus.

Meeting with an attorney, such as one from our legal team at Kwartler Manus, can provide valuable insight and guidance throughout this matter.
