The Details of the Bicycle Crash

According to the child, who spoke with 6ABC, the vehicle hit him from behind and left the scene. He said his bicycle was broken into two pieces as a result of the crash. When the child’s parents arrived at the scene, the boy was still unconscious. His face was slammed into the ground, leading to serious dental injuries that will require surgery. The boy is being monitored for a possible concussion, but did not suffer any broken bones.

There was no immediate word from the police about the make, model, or color of the suspect vehicle. Police did say that they would be canvassing the area for possible video footage.
