How Did the Box Truck Overturn in Bethel?
Police, fire, and EMS personnel were dispatched to the 1200 block of Pine Grove Road in Bethel Township shortly after midnight on Thursday morning. Upon arrival, first responders found an overturned box truck with two people sitting on top of it, waiting for assistance.
Firefighters used a ladder to assist the occupants down from the truck, allowing them to receive treatment for possible injuries. It is currently unknown whether either of the occupants was transported to the hospital via ambulance. The Frystown Fire Company believes that winding, dark roads, unfamiliarity with the area, and weather all contributed to the crash.
