A two-car accident on Bethlehem Pike and Route 306 in Montgomery Township caused injuries and a backup on the roadway for some time. Initial reports indicate that a white Audi SUV and a silver Honda CR-V were involved in an accident at Route 309 and Taylor Road. The white SUV had heavy front-end damage from the crash and was blocking Bethlehem Pike afterwards. The Honda SUV had passenger-side damage.
At least one person was being treated at the scene by EMS right after the accident. It is uncertain if they needed medical care. Two others in the opposite vehicle were not hurt.
Two-car Accidents at Intersections Are Common
One of the most common car accident locations is at an intersection. They often occur as a result of one person turning. The police must determine who is at fault by considering who had the right of way. Evidence at the scene, witness statements, and forensics will help to provide initial fault in a case like this. Police were still investigating at the time of initial reports.
