Driver Killed in Center City

A driver died in a car accident on the Vine Street Expressway in Center City, PA, on a recent Monday morning. Police reported that a dark gray Toyota Corolla collided with a utility truck, hitting it from behind. The truck was stopped on the busy roadway because of heavy traffic in the center lane.

The accident, which happened around 10 a.m., shut down the highway for a period of time while police investigated. Police did not release more details about the accident.
