Multi-Car Accident on Oxford Street in North Philadelphia

North Philadelphia police reported a multi-car crash occurring along the 2700 block of Oxford Street on a Saturday night. Surveillance video showed the driver of a black Jeep Compass crashing into at least three vehicles as they traveled the wrong way down Oxford Street.

At least one car sustained significant damage. That car, a red vehicle, was sideways in the roadway and was struck near the driver’s side rear door. The Jeep was nearby, facing the wrong direction on the one-way road. Further information from the police confirmed that the driver was fleeing police at the time of the crash. The individual was arrested at the time of the accident. One person, at least, was hurt but said to be in stable condition.

Suffering an Injury Can Be Brutal

It is very common for victims of serious accidents like this to find themselves facing months of rehabilitation, complicated injuries, pain, and lost time at work due to the careless behavior of another person. The law provides victims with the right to pursue compensation for all losses they have, including pain and suffering, lost wages, property damage, and medical costs. If you are hurt in an accident someone else causes, do not settle your claim until you speak to an attorney.
