When Pedestrians Are At Fault

There are some situations in which a pedestrian can be found at fault for an accident with a vehicle. If the vehicle was driving as expected at the right speed, but the pedestrian suddenly crossed the street without warning against traffic in the crosswalk, the pedestrian could be at fault.

A comprehensive investigation is critical, though. The law makes it clear that if a driver can stop and they should do everything possible to do so to avoid striking the pedestrian. A full investigation into this case will provide better insight into the legal rights of those victims.
