Cyclist Killed in Monroe Township Last Night

A tragic accident took place in South Jersey on a recent Thursday night. According to initial reports from the police, a bike rider was killed after trying to cross the intersection of North Black Horse Pike and Berlin-Cross Keys Road in Monroe Township in South Jersey. The incident took place around 9 p.m.

Reports indicate the bicyclist was trying to cross the intersection but fell from the bike into one of the lanes on the roadway. That is when a passing 2002 Chrysler minivan that was heading southbound hit the bike rider and went over them. Right after, a second vehicle, a 2023 Honda CR-V, did the same.

Police have ample evidence in this case thanks to a surveillance video from a nearby business. It showed the entire accident unfolding, including the bike flying off in another direction and the car’s tires squealing on the cement. Talk to a bicycle accident attorney today.
