Details of the Fatal Middle Township Accident
Emergency personnel were dispatched at 4:45 a.m. on Monday to the area of Court House-South Dennis Road (County Route 657) in Cape May Court House. The accident occurred when a vehicle traveling southbound attempted to pass a vehicle.
The passing vehicle struck a Honda Accord traveling northbound. Two adults were taken to local hospitals for injuries suffered in the crash. A 13-year-old boy in the Accord was taken to Cooper Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased. The adults were transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Division.
The road remained closed for close to five hours as police conducted an investigation and the vehicles were cleared away.
